'Gators, a watercolor painting by Melanie Harman, has been juried into into the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies' WFWS44 exhibition by Kathleen Conover. WFWS44 will be hosted by San Diego Watercolor Society at their gallery which is located in the historic Naval Training Center or what is now known as Liberty Station. The exhibition runs from May 1 to May 31, 2019 with an awards dinner on May 4 at the Courtyard by Marriott, San Diego Old Town, hotel ballroom.

"Spring Morning", a watercolor painting by artist Melanie Harman placed second in 2-D at the "Light and Shadow" show at the Prescott Center for the Arts. The show runs from Sept. 2 to Oct. 5, 2014 in their gallery on the corner of Willis and Marina in downtown Prescott, Arizona. In the heart of the historic downtown Prescott area, and part of the National Register of Historic Places, the Prescott Center for the Arts Gallery offers a fully accessible, free, public art gallery that boasts seven exciting art exhibitions per season, educational classes and workshops, plus an inviting gift shop area full of one of a kind items. The gallery is open on Mondays 11-3, Tuesday through Saturday 10-3 and Sunday Noon - 4.
